What special tests may my hand surgeon recommend to diagnose or treat my hand and upper extremity condition?

To accurately diagnose your hand or upper extremity condition may require special diagnostic tests beyond the scope of a typical office visit. Information regarding the following diagnostic tests is provided to help you understand the importance of the diagnostic procedure as well as how this test helps determine your treatment plan.   • Computed Tomography (CT Scan)(sometimes called CAT scan)
